The Lamb and the 144,000
14 Then I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of mighty ocean waves or the rolling of loud thunder. It was like the sound of many harpists playing together.
3 This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty-four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4 They have kept themselves as pure as virgins,[a] following the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering[b] to God and to the Lamb. 5 They have told no lies; they are without blame.
The Three Angels
6 And I saw another angel flying through the sky, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. 7 “Fear God,” he shouted. “Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water.”
What a glorious picture of the Victory of Jesus Christ The Lamb of God. The Purpose of God with Us in Him is seen here. And in the words of the Angel we are commanded to Fear God, and give Glory to Him. This Holy Worship is the response of His Bride who has received a song from Heaven and it pours forth in a joyous and awesome celebration of the wisdom and greatness of God. Let us then Bless the Lord at all times and let His praise continuously be in our mouths. Let us come before His presence with singing and sing to Him a new song. Blessed be the Name of The Lord.
Praise God. Isn’t it beautiful that there is a heavenly band of musicians and this band has a name. They are called The Great Choir. They have a new song which is a mystical form of music that only they know and only they can sing. This crazy way of singing has been done since 1 A.D. One of their founders describe it when he is teaching how to sing it. He calls it singing in the spirit. This part is especially good because if you ever get a chance to see this band you might get an invitation to sing with them. Some one either the choir director will say sing to the Lord a new song or just a spontaneous expression of love and admiration of Jesus will break out into singing. And it will grow as more people join it and if you do then its wonderful.
